Product DescriptionLarge Night Light – Convenient Handle2 Gallon Capacity for 24-32Editorial Review When babies have respiratory congestion or nasal sprays can help relieve discomfort by adding soothing moisture to dry indoor air of a bedroom. This spray 2 gallons to produce steam for about 24 to 32 hours. (He stops automatically produce steam when the water level drops below 75. Inch.) Testers found that the steam was low until a few pinches of salt were added to water (something suggested by the manufacturer). The electric heating unit detaches from the holder of the water, making cleaning easy – an important daily task to prevent the accumulation of minerals and stains. Comes with a built-in burner and a small tray for holding medication spray. Security Note: Once the children can get out of bed on their own bedroom sprays can be dangerous because they produce hot steam that can cause serious burns if the device is reversed. Be sure to keep the cord and the spray distance to reach baby. – Hannah Reynolds

I bought this the first time my son had a cold. It does not work. The vaporizor is to buy but uses Vicks Kaz inhalent, go figure. Even after buying the Kaz inhalent the thing is barely any steam and forget the smell of inhalent. Rating: 2 / 5

We own one just like that, without light at night – I sent my 2 years in his room. I had been using at night when she was in her crib – but as it was closed I started earlier and forgotten. I sent him to her room and she screamed. . . . She had 2nd degree burns on his hand and we ended up in ER. I do not want anyone to suffer what we did. . . . BUY A Cool Air Humidifier – Mine goes out to the trash and be replaced by fresh air. I could just imagine spilling the water and being burned even worse. Rating: 1 / 5

Our doctor recommended a humidifier cool, as opposed to the hot air machine. The top of the humidifier becomes very hot and my little girl put her hand on it yesterday and got a 2nd degree burn. She screamed for an hour and his poor little hand is swollen. This humidifier is designed to sit on the floor of a room and has a light above it so it is attractive to toddlers – watch out! Shame on vicks to sell a product designed to be in the nursery that it is dangerous. It looks like a protective cover could have been added. Our doctor said that a cool-mist humidifier offer the same benefits as one of hot air but there is no risk of burning your child. DO NOT BUY a humidifier hot! Rating: 1 / 5

I bought this for my two years with a cold. I bought and put the liquid in it vicks vapor and not just out. Also, I could not even smell the vicks strong enough to breathe it in, then it breathe better. I figure the price, it would been good, but I guess you get what you pay for. Rating: 1 / 5

I always used a spray typical my children, especially when they would get a stuffy nose or cold. I always felt it was the best way to help the congestion. until, of my second child, his ped. told me not to use these files. She explained how the steam and heat to the air will actually increase congestion. I was skeptical, but I tried and went to a unit of cold vapor. What a difference! the cool mist gives added needed moisture without adding heat to the air which can cause greater congestion. I mean really, think about it. in the heat of summer when the humidity is high, it is more difficult to breathe, right? Rating: 2 / 5
